At Dragonfly Bilingual Home, we are passionate about early childhood education and the power of bilingualism. Founded by Leida Venegas, who have 15 years of combined experience in childcare and bilingual education, we believe in fostering a love of learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Our team of dedicated and qualified teachers share our commitment to providing children with a well-rounded education that prepares them for future success. We incorporate elements from child development philosophies like Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf to create a fun and engaging learning experience
​for all children.

East Oakland native Ms. Leida,  fluent in Spanish as her native tongue, has always called this vibrant community home. Her passion for early childhood education led her to pursue an Associate's Degree in Child Development from the College of Alameda in 2005. She furthered her education with a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Cal State East Bay in 2009.

In 2012, Ms. Leida's dream of Dragonfly Bilingual Home became a reality. "My mother has been my support and motivation every step of the way" she says. Driven by a desire to uplift the community she cherishes, Ms. Leida's ultimate goal is to expand her services and reach more families, very soon.
